Mobile Platforms

It is known that Android is now the most popular mobile platform.  That being said, what does this mean for Apple, Blackberry and even Microsoft as an enterprise platform?

Apple is a clear front runner in this race.  They continually create "cool" features that people love and are often.  But are they able to make it on the business use side?

For those of us who have been loyal Microsoft developers its getting tougher to hope that Windows Phone 7 will gain popularity in the enterprise.  Its a great system but its future in teh enterprise still remains unclear.

As for Blackberry, the pioneers in this industry, they have their work cut out for them.  We believe the Playbook takes a very interesting approach to mobile computing.  The idea of keeping everything in the clould great idea.  Now let's see how it plays out.

As for 2WC Solutions, we are using each of these technologies with our clients depending on the need.  We are hopeful that this growing competition will lead to further innovation.

What do you think?
